Ride Schedule North American Tour Dates

British shoegaze act Ride will play a handful of North American concerts this July as they prep their first album in two decades, Pitchfork reports.

The trek opens July 17th at Massey Hall in Toronto and includes stops in Boston, New York and Philadelphia, before wrapping July 23rd at Sixty & I in Washington D.C. Tickets for all shows go on sale March 3rd at 10 a.m. local time.

Ride will release their first album since 1996’s Tarantula this summer via Wichita Recordings. While the band has yet to announce a release date and title, they’ve shared two new songs, “Charm Assault” and “Home Is a Feeling.” DJ Erol Alkan produced the upcoming record and Alan Moulder mixed it (Moulder mixed the group’s seminal 1990 effort, Nowhere, and produced 1992’s Going Blank Again).

Ride announced their reunion in 2014 after the break-up of Beady Eye, singer/guitarist Andy Bell’s project with Oasis’ Liam Gallagher (Bell previously played in Oasis as well). In February 2015, Bell and co-singer/guitarist Mark Gardener played an intimate acoustic set, after which the full band embarked on a world tour that featured several festival stops, including Coachella.
